Marlie at 3 Months
There is so much to update everybody about. Oma, Opa, and Chris came out for Marlie's blessing. It was so nice to see them. We had a blast. We went to Ocean City, Atlantic City, and the Amish Market just to name a few. It was so nice having both sides of the family here. Marlie was a good little girl. Her blessing was perfect. Nick was a little nervous but he did great. She slept through the whole thing and added a couple of smiles in the middle. That's my girl.
Uncle Chris playing with Miss. Marlie. He was so good with her. It must run in the family.Marlie's first time to the Atlantic City Outlets. I'm sure we will be back there soon. :)
This picture is classic.
Why so sad baby girl?
I melt when I see this picture! Nick is the perfect Dad.
Oma and Marlie. I love this picture!
Marlie's first trip to Ocean city!!
Marlie has already changed from these pictures. She is already 3 months now and weighs 10 1/2 pounds. She has doubled her weight, the little chunk. :) She is talking up a storm, baby style that is and drooling like crazy. She constantly has her hands in her mouth and loves to kick her legs. She slept through the night for the first time the other night. It may have been a fluke because it didn't happen last night. We will see. I love dressing her up in cute little dresses with her little bows. Everybody stops us everywhere to say how beautiful she is. Sorry, I had to brag a little. That is what Mom's are supposed to do.
What else, lets see, we finally got our deck built. I was so excited you don't even know. I love it. Now Marlie and I have somewhere to hang out outside. I can't wait till the fall. It is going to be so beautiful in our backyard. We are going to get a little baby pool to put on the deck as well. Marlie has a bathing suit that she hasn't even worn yet. Gotta get on that one.
As for Nicholas, he is definitely moving up in the world. He is in the process of buying a pretzel route now. Some of you already know he has a bread route. He is going to have somebody run the bread route and he will run the pretzel route. His first employee. I am so excited for him and proud of him as well. These routes are allowing me to stay home with Marlie Marie. I have always wanted to be a stay at home Mom. I don't know what I have done to be so blessed.
My Mom and I have been hanging out almost everyday. I love being with her. It is so much fun. Marlie fits in nicely. We are molding her well and she is becoming quite the shopper. I wish my Mom didn't have to go back to school. Only 3 more years left. My Dad is doing well. He is now holding Marlie on the couch without anybody there. This is a big improvement. I think it will take him a few years to hold her standing up. He is so afraid he is going to drop her. It is so cute.
Poppy and Jo are well. Jo is in the hospital recovering from surgery on her colon but she is healing really well. Poppy is so funny. He talks to Marlie in his baby talk and she looks at him like he is crazy. It is so adorable.
Till next time.
